Our client, a large Sydney CBD based finance institute, is looking for an experienced Big Data Developer / Engineer.

About the role

• Design and develop big data solutions
• Implement and manage Data pipelines
• Set up and manage big data frameworks

Skills and experience

• 3+ years' experience as a Data Developer or Engineer working with Big Data
• Extensive knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem including Spark and Hive
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Good communication skills and keen to learn

What's on offer

• 12 months+ contract
• Up to $170k plus super yearly or day rate up to $900 inc super
• Open to candidates on sponsorship visa
