This role will drive the Finance team vision of strong and efficient financial processes and procedures that will help drive optimal decision making throughout the business as we establish the processes for a new business unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-depth and meaningful insights into the performance of the contract against budget through monthly analysis and commentary
• Support completion of monthly reporting packs including project reviews
• Ensure project alignment to business strategy
• Co-ordinate, review and take ownership for financial project risks & opportunities register the project including interpretation of impact from portfolio impact perspective
• Support analysis and recommendation of proposed change requests
• Support Commercial lead in establishing and embedding financial processes that enable efficient processes and decision making including but not limited to:
  • Creation of cost centre structure and associated financial reporting for program and business unit financial reporting
  • Stand-up payroll processes
  • Stand-up of billing processes
  • Rolling Project budget reporting

Experience:

• Experience working in a similar financial analyst role
• Experience managing establishment of new financial processes and policies for business or business unit
• Experience in ERP or payroll system (Microsoft dynamics preferred)
• Experience supporting financials of large scale implementation projects (desired)
