The Role:

FinXL are looking to engage two ICT Desktop Support Officers to provide second level desktop support services to users of the departments’ computing network. Tasks include but are not limited to installing/moving of desktop PC’s, laptops, printers, troubleshooting SOE installations, installing and troubleshooting software, port patching, hardware troubleshooting, etc.

 

The role requires you to:

  • Support and follow the direction provided by the supervisor and or team leaders. Work collaboratively with other staff.
  • Undertake an equitable proportion of the team’s workload to ensure SLAs and team goals are achieved. Be responsive to changes in requirements.
  • Build and sustain positive working relationships with team members and clients. Be responsive to changes in client needs and expectations.
  • Take personal responsibility for the completion of assigned work. Act professionally at all times, upholding the APS Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and concisely with team members and clients using appropriate language. Structure written and oral communication to ensure clarity.
  • Have proven experience supporting networked information systems and technology in an enterprise environment.
