Summary:

FinXL are looking for a Lead Network Engineer to lead implementation teams, providing system design and implementation support.

Overview:

• Undertaking system analysis, technical design, implementation and maintenance of solutions applied to customer infrastructure incorporating technologies such as network, IP Telephony, security, systems, optimisation and wireless solutions as applicable to the role.
• Lead/Work with implementation teams and the customer, providing systems/network design and implementation support to ensure smooth and effective migration to new technology/versions;
• Using extensive technical skills, design/implement testing methodologies and manage the outcome of the testing.
• Apply professional expertise to complex problem resolution, where precedents may not exist.
• Work closely the Optus Technical Assistance Centre for resolution of complex incidents and problems.
• Work closely the on-site Optus Service Delivery Management to ensure that network performing optimally.
• Perform on call after hours support to customers for P1 and P2 cases.
• Provide timely updates on all escalated Level 3 & 4 problems.
• Work with team members and customers to test problems to come up with solutions to issues and security vulnerabilities etc.
• Provide technical support to clients through dealing with complex service queries and problems with clients' systems related to above technologies, as applicable.

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 10 years broad professional work experience in Networking.
• Minimum 3 years professional work experience in Data Centre Networking.
• Relevant Tertiary Degree
• Relevant Vendor Certifications
• Experience in technical customer implementation as a lead engineer
• AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1)
• Strong experience with ACI and Cisco network security technologies.
• Solid understanding of F5 BIG IP LTM and GTM products
• Solid understanding of various SD-WAN
• A good understanding of Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls products
