Network Engineer

FinXL is a market-leading professional services organisation with more than 1200 consultants deployed on client sites across Australia and New Zealand.

At present, an outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced Network Engineer with solid design experience to a play key role on a crucial engagement for one of our key clients. Initial duration is twelve months but the contract is likely to extend.

Skills and Experience Required:

• At least 5 to 7 years working as a Cisco network administrator
• Strong Knowledge in Cisco networking, routing protocols, and switching (Layer 2 and Layer 3)
• Strong Knowledge in Cisco Wireless Controller and AP
• Knowledge in NAC at Clearpass
• Knowledge in doing Wireless survey is an advantage
• Knowledge in DWDM is an advantage
• Knowledge in Cisco ACI is an advantage
• Knowledge in Palo Alto Firewall is an advantage
• Knowledge in different Fiber or Copper cabling standards
• Onsite availability is a must
• High Communication and coordination skills with the PM
• Write documentation, create & update diagrams reflecting physical & logical network infrastructure.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently
• Assists with resolution of escalated incidents. Troubleshoot and address infrastructure issues.
