The role

The role includes supporting and building of sustainable organisational project management capability, maturity and ensuring project managers are applying best practice and consistent approaches for project governance.

The requirements

• Development of a Project Management tool kit including quick reference guides to provide guidance on the use of the Project Management Frameworks and policies.
• Create an induction starter pack and checklist for Project Managers.
• Shape and evolve the monthly forums into a community of practice
• Develop Guidance on best practice methodology.
• Design and implement project resource standards into recruitment strategy.
• Design an implementation and change plan to embed the Project Management Frameworks into practice.
• Provide analysis on complex issues and contribute to the management, preparation and coordination of policy formulation and/or project management.
• May be required to supervise a team to ensure high quality outputs, building team capacity and encouraging career development.
• Develop and support key internal and external relationships, including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals. In addition, represent the agency by promoting its interests in various forums.
