My client is looking for a Data Analyst / Business Analyst to help carry them even further, they are searching for an experienced consultant to join this established team of high performers. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization

The Senior Business/Data Analyst role will be responsible to understand and document the requirements and then work with the developer to ensure the required data extract to support

The core responsibilities of this role will require the candidate to:

• Ensure the data & reporting requirements are documented and agreed.
• Data analysis to identify required datasets and potential impediments that may impact the design.
• Providing input into the solution design.
• Working closely with the developer to ensure data extract is built as specified

Working collaboratively with the other project streams to manage inter-dependencies and support the ope-rationalisationoperationalisation of the delivered solutions

Data mapping spreadsheets, Data analysis of the available datasets to identify potential issues that need to be considered in the design.

Test Plan and Test execution to ensure the data extract meets business requirements

Nice to have

• Experience developing UAT test scenarios and execution
• Experience in delivering data warehouse projects and reporting

• Technical expertise in data analysis to efficiently query data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions. (Must Have) Moderate to Strong SQL Skills - Able to de-compose complex SQL queries, understand what they're doing and draft business rules based on this.
• Ability to clearly articulate findings and produce project deliverables including various project documents such as requirements, and testing plans
• Experience in Wealth Management industry (required) and Life Insurance in particular (desired)
• Experience in utilising data analysis tool sets such as Alteryx, Dataiku, Tableau etc etc.
