FinXL are looking for Service Desk Analysts to provide support for a range of government clients.


  • Provide level one support and fault resolution
  • Provide and timely and effective customer service for a range of Finance and other government clients.
  • Assist in completing the day-to-day tasks and priorities set out by the team leader including daily health checks, report running and other administrative tasks.
  • Identifying issues, troubleshooting and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to learn and build standard operating procedures, routine reporting and internal processes specific to the Service Desk Team.
  • Monitor, manage and train users on the booking of the National Telepresence System.

Selection Criteria:

  • NV1 Clearance
  • Perform incident management functions including stakeholder liaison
  • Working knowledge and application of ITIL.
  • Experience with common applications used in an IT Service Desk such as MS Office and Service Management tools (highly desirable).
  • A working knowledge of telecommunications environments and basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels, both oral and written.
  • An understanding of government operations, including government administration and record keeping practices (desirable).
  • ITIL certification at the Foundation level an advantage.
