The Role:

FinXL are looking to engage a Splunk Specialist to work with implementation teams and the customer, taking the lead for maintaining the environment

The key technical skills required for this role are:

  • Technical / Engineering capability with operating and maintaining splunk 3+ years.
  • some project / implementation experience with Splunk
  • Configure, manage, and upgrade Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) platform (Splunk)
  • Involved in the operational support of the environment to ensure platform availability.
  • Analyse complex cases involving a pattern of security events from SIEM, and other security data sources. Splunk experience is preferred.
  • Develop and tune use cases, alerts, reports, custom dashboards and further enhancement
  • Create, improve, and document processes for the management and monitoring of security solutions.
  • Work with technical teams on log onboarding. Baseline and improve threat detection thresholds and improve detection methods.
  • Work with Splunk vendors on support issues.
