Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer- Unix to work for a large organisation in Sydney or Brisbane

Skills and experience:

* Experience managing Unix or Linux operating systems such as AIX, RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux and Solaris at scale
* Experience in maintaining and/or supporting an enterprise Information Technology environment.
* Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting in production environments
* Experience in public cloud infrastructure
* Experience in of the Unix command-line and tools
* Experience in virtualisation (VMWare/KVM/PowerVM)
* Experience in version control (git/mercurial/subversion)
* Experience developing Infrastructure as Code
* Experience building applications for, and deploying to, public cloud infrastructure.
