Finite Group Successfully Hosts First Virtual “Kick Off”

On Thursday 4th March, Finite Group held their first ever Virtual “Kick Off” Conference and Awards for internal employees in their nine offices across Australia and New Zealand.

The Group’s Annual Kick Off Conference is always a calendar highlight, with teams coming together from far and wide to collaborate and celebrate in two jam packed days of what it means to be a part of the Finite Group family.

However, due to uncertainties arising from the pandemic and border closures, it made sense this year to put technology to the test and run things the virtual way, and what a resounding success that was!

“This year’s conference theme was “Bouncing Back”, which we all felt was very fitting after such a challenging year in 2020. We wanted to inspire a lot of positivity amongst our people and share the  optimism from the upbeat market trends we are now seeing in 2021, as the improved economic confidence continues to drive growth and momentum in the ANZ services and recruitment markets” says Finite’s MD, Tracy Thomson.

So of course, in true Finite style, boardrooms were transformed into a sea of colour and fun, with each office choosing their own theme to get into the spirit. From Hawaiian beach parties and Mexican fiestas to iconic Australia and super heroes, with each office contributing their own unique energy, enthusiasm and excitement.

“We were lucky enough to hear from our usual Finite MC, Nick Bartlett, who made a surprise visit, keeping us all entertained with his usual quick-witted remarks and antics, plus some excellent presentations and speakers providing some great insights and ideas as key takeaways for the year ahead.

It was also a great opportunity for us to look back on 2020 and award our team of high achievers within the business. We are so fortunate to have such a talented and high performing team on board, who deserved to be acknowledged and honored for their amazing achievements during a difficult year, amongst their peers” Tracy commented.
